Men Posed As Landscapers To Burglarize Home In Wheaton: Cops
Police say one man burglarized the home while the other man distracted the resident.
WHEATON, IL — A man posed as part of a landscaping company while another man burglarized a home in Wheaton according to police. The incident took place Feb. 7 in the 400 block of South Washington Street.
Police say a man knocked on the home's front door around 2 p.m. and asked the resident to come outside to talk about landscaping work. At that time, the second man came into the home and stole a watch and some cash from a drawer in the bedroom.
