A Mother-Daughter Relationship That Goes The Distance In Wheaton
They might live more than 1,000 miles apart, but this sweet Mother's Day dedication proves their love is limitless.

WHEATON, IL — On Mother's Day, Lisa Kimball is celebrating the fact that the bond between a mother and a daughter is something that can cover any distance. Lisa Kimball lives in Florida, more than 1,000 miles from her Wheaton mom, Jane, but Kimball says she's gotten even closer to her mother despite the physical distance.

In a special Mother's Day dedication to Jane, Lisa Kimball wrote, "I am so blessed by the relationship that my mom and I have. After going away to college for 4 years and then moving to Florida almost 5 years ago, we have had to deal with being 'long-distance family' for quite some time. It’s never easy having to say goodbye at the airport each time, but after a while it has become routine for us. Even though we live so far away from each other, our mother-daughter relationship has never changed. If anything, it has gotten so much stronger. I am so lucky to have my mom not only as my mom, but also as a close friend. Thank you for all that you do for me and Dad and for your endless support in everything that I do. I couldn’t do life without you! Love you and Happy Mother’s Day!"
