WHEATON, IL — Police will visit communities in Wheaton to share fun activities and safety information with residents as part of the city's Roll Call events, which will resume June 6.

The outdoor events will be held in different neighborhoods across Wheaton throughout summer. The first month's schedule is as follows:

June 6 at 6:30 p.m.: St. Michael Catholic Church, 310 S. Wheaton Ave.

June 13 at 6:30 p.m.: Hope Presbyterian Church, 1771 S. Wiesbrook Rd.

June 20 at 6:30 p.m.: St. Mark Catholic Church300 E. Cole Ave.

Police plan to schedule more Roll Call events as summer continues.

“We’re looking forward to bringing back this program and meeting with the community again this summer," Roll Call program leader Sergeant Angela Smith said in a news release. "It has proved to be a meaningful way for our officers to engage with residents and share relevant information about their neighborhood and their police department."
