New Martin Memorial Plaza To Be Dedicated During Vintage Car Show
The plaza dedication will coincide with the first vintage car show of the season.

WHEATON, IL -- The new Martin Memorial Plaza, a centerpiece of Wheaton's revamped streetscape, will be officially rededicated in a special ceremony on May 24. The rededication ceremony will feature live music, cake, and food vendors, along with the first Wheaton Vintage Rides classic car show of the season
The festivities are set to kick off at 6 p.m. with hot rods and souped-up vintage cars lined up along Front Street. At 6:30 p.m., city officials will take part in a ribbon cutting for Martin Memorial Plaza.
The new plaza replaces the original Martin Memorial Plaza in a new location that features new amenities. Newly added features include an outdoor fireplace, a new fountain, and strings of lights above a community gathering space.

The Vintage Rides car show will return to Front Street every Friday during the summer after its May 24 debut.
