PDQ Restaurant is set to open September 24 at 167 Danada Square In Wheaton, making fresh chicken and hand-spun shakes.

WHEATON, IL — PDQ is coming to Wheaton on September 24 and the new restaurant is bringing its signature, fresh, never frozen chicken, housemade sauces, seasonal sandwiches, and hand-spun shakes. PDQ, which stands for People Dedicated To Quality, combines the spirit of a farm-to-table restaurant with a convenient dine-in or drive-thru setup. Its Wheaton location will be located at 167 Danada Square.
The design of PDQ's interior will be anchored by an open kitchen to create an inviting atmosphere that's geared toward families and friends grabbing a bite. Diners can eat in, zip through the drive-thru, or order take out to enjoy at home.
PDQ was founded in 2011 by Nick Reader and Bob Basham. Since then, the owners have spread PDQ's footprint to 61 restaurants across the U.S. In a press release about the upcoming Wheaton opening, a representative from PDQ said the restaurant "aims to create deep roots in its local communities while donating to local charities, schools, and organizations in need every year."
