Noreen Steck of Wheaton died Tuesday, Aug. 2. She was 73
Noreen Steck died Tuesday, August 2, 2011, surrounded by her family. She was 73.
She was born May 23, 1939 in Philadelphia, PA. She met her husband, Frank on New Year's Eve in 1958. They married in April 1961.
Her career was in nursing, and she was quickly elevated to various leadership positions in one of Washington D.C.'s most highly regarded hospitals.
She was a dedicated member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. She was a cautious but willing skier and a camper with a great love of the outdoors.
She is survived by her husband, Frank; four sons Frank, Brian, David and Michael; a sister, Eileen; and nine grandchildren: Riley, Meagan, Mia, Sarah, Kyra, William, Jack, Addison and Camilla.
Visitation was Sunday, Aug. 7 at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home.
