Sister Mary Ann (Mark) White, devoted member of the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary for 60 years, died April 8, 2013, as a resident of Resurrection Life Center in Chicago. She was born September 20, 1934 in Chicago.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Mary (Sallee) White, and her sister, Janet High.

She is survived by her sister, Jacqueline (Ed) Wirtz, her brother, Michael (Jan) White, her many nieces and nephews, and her IBVM Community. Sister Mary Ann ministered as an educator in Chicago, Northlake, Detroit, Sault Ste. Marie, and Oakbrook Terrace, Ill.

Visitation on Thursday, April 11, at Loretto Convent, 1600 Somerset Lane, Wheaton, from 4 to 6:30 p.m., followed by Words of Remembrance and Funeral Liturgy at 7:00 p.m. Interment on Friday at 11:30 a.m. at St. Michael Cemetery, Wheaton. Donations to the IBVM Office of Development at Loretto Convent appreciated.
