Orville Musterman of Wheaton died Wednesday, Jun. 22. He was 92.

Orville Musterman of Wheaton died Wednesday, Jun. 22. He was 92. 

He was born January 31, 1919 in Orchard Place, IL, and raised in Bensenville, IL. He served in the United States Marine Corps during World War Two in the Pacific Theatre of Operations, where he was with the first landing of marines at Iwo Jima. He was a former baton leader with the Highlander Bagpipers for 25 years and a lifetime member of the Elmhurst VFW and the Marine Corp League. 

He is survived by his wife, Joanne; two sons, James and Thomas; a daughter, Pamela; nine grandchildren, Kelly, Julie, Michael, Eric, Jennifer, Erin, Heather, Kent and Matthew; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Ruth; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorena; and two brothers, Roger and Chester. 

A visitation was held Sunday, Jun. 26 a Williams-Kampp Funeral Home in Wheaton. Donations may be sent to the American Parkinson Disease Association, Inc., 135 Parkinson Avenue, Staten Island, NY, 10305, or the First Church of Lombard, 220 Main Street, Lombard, IL, 60148.
