This family owned and operated Wheaton classic remains a local favorite.

The building may have changed hands from Chinese buffet to Chinese buffet over the years, but don't be fooled — Lu's is different. If you want five-star presentation without the price, Lu's is the place to be. The calming decor and friendly service give a home-y feel to this new restaurant. Featuring fresh sushi and impeccable entrees, it's the closest to China you'll get without a plane ticket.

The classic Italian family restaurant upgraded to first class. Large portions, ripe tomatoes, and lots and lots of olive oil; these are the meal staples you will find at Vitorio's. The cozy atmosphere is a perk, but means it can get crowded on a busy night — never hesitate to make a reservation. Italian classics are served with enthusiasm by the dedicated staff at this quaint spot in downtown Glen Ellyn.
