Photos Sought For 'Snapshots Of DuPage: Honoring 250 Years Of America'

DUPAGE COUNTY — As DuPage County prepares to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the United States of America, residents are encouraged to submit photos depicting life in DuPage County in 2026. Photos will be chosen from the submission as part of "Snapshots Of DuPage: Honoring 250 Years Of America," and featured in exhibits and media campaigns for the bisesquicentennial celebration.

Residents ages 10 to 17 years old can submit photos in the Youth Category. Residents 18 and older can submit photos in the Adult Category. Entrants are encouraged to submit photos depicting community events, local landmarks, everyday moments, cultural diversity and outdoor spaces, but are not limited to those subjects.

The contest opens March 2 and the deadline to submit photos is Nov. 2. The submitted photos must also have been taken between March 2 and Nov. 2, 2026.
