Police Identify Pedestrian Killed in Crash in Wheaton
Pamela Spletter, 60, was killed after being struck by a vehicle at Butterfield and Naperville roads in Wheaton.

A woman struck and killed by a vehicle Sept. 16 has been identified, according to a report from My Suburban Life.
Pamela Spletter, 60, of Naperville, was struck and killed by a vehicle at Butterfield and Naperville roads in Wheaton at around 7:53 p.m. Wednesday.

Wheaton Police Chief Mark W. Field told My Suburban Life the vehicle was traveling east on Butterfield Road when it struck Spletter. The woman was wearing dark clothing and the driver tried to stop in time, but was unable to avoid her. Spletter was struck by the front passenger side of the vehicle.
No arrests were made and the crash remains under investigation.

Spletter worked for Dixon Valve Company in Itasca, according to her obituary. Private funeral services are being planned for the Naperville woman.
