Porch Pirates Nab Packages From 3 Homes In Wheaton
Police say porch pirates stole items that were delivered to three homes in the city. The thefts took place within a week.
WHEATON, IL —Porch pirates stole items that had been delivered to three homes in Wheaton, according to recent police reports. The thefts all took place within a week.
The first incident took place on March 27. A resident in the 800 block of South Lorraine Road told police a package was stolen from outside their home between 9:45 a.m. and 4 p.m.
On March 30, a package was stolen from outside of a home in the 2000 block of Driving Park Boulevard. According to police, the incident took place sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.

A third stolen package incident was reported on the morning of April 5. A resident told police someone stolen a package from their front porch around 10 a.m.
