Pride Picnic Planned At Cantigny Park
A picnic will be held at McCormick Allée in Cantigny Park, featuring queer movie trivia, food trucks and an evening drag performance.
WHEATON, IL — In honor of Pride month, Cantigny Park is planning a Pride Picnic complete with food trucks, queer film trivia and more. The June 22 event will be followed by a drag show at 8 p.m.
The picnic will take place at the park's beautiful, tree-lined McCormick Allée. Guests are welcome to bring their own lunches or snag something from one of the food trucks onsite. Wine, beer and themed cocktails will be available, such as the Easy Rider, a melange of vodka, blue curacao, peach schnapps and grenadine.
Snap Shot Foto will have a photo booth at the picnic and Mystic Arts Tarot will offer 10-minute readings. Visitors can also buy items from queer-owned popup shops throughout the picnic area.

At 8 p.m., Bella Donna will perform a drag show that Cantigny Park described as "family-friendly" in its event description.
Tickets for Cantigny Park's Pride Picnic are $15 for adults and $12 for seniors ages 65 and older. Children who are 15 years old or younger can get into the event for free. Click the link to buy a ticket to the Pride Picnic.
