Reindeer Run To Temporarily Close Roads In Downtown Wheaton

WHEATON, IL — Wheaton's 2021 Reindeer Run 5K will lead to road closures downtown Saturday morning.

The race, presented by Wheaton Park District and Wheaton Lions Club, kicks off a 8 a.m. and will result in the following road closures until approximately 10 a.m.:

• Main Street from Front Street to Jefferson Avenue
• Jefferson Avenue from Main Street to Cross Street
• Cross Street from Jefferson Avenue to Prairie Avenue
• Prairie Avenue from Cross Street to Santa Rosa Avenue
• Santa Rosa Avenue from Forest Avenue to Cadillac Drive
• Cadillac Drive from Santa Rosa Avenue to Webster Avenue
• Webster Avenue from Cadillac Drive to Forest Avenue
• Forest Avenue from Webster Avenue to Irving Avenue
• Irving Avenue from Forest Avenue to Prairie Avenue
• Oak Avenue from Irving Avenue to Washington Street
• Washington Street from Prairie Avenue to Wesley Street
• Wesley Street from Washington Street to Main Street

Barricades and safety cones will be set up to mark the road closures and police will be on hand to help direct the flow of traffic.
