Remembrance Ceremony To Commemorate September 11 At Memorial Park
City officials, the Municipal Band and others will be present at Wheaton's 2023 September 11 Remembrance Ceremony.
WHEATON, IL — Sept. 11, 2023, marks 22 years since the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. Wheaton will hold a remembrance ceremony at Memorial Park to honor those people who lost their lives during the attacks and battles that came in the aftermath.
In attendance at the park's Veterans Memorial will be Wheaton Mayor Philip Suess, along with members of the city's police and fire departments.
After Mayor Suess greets guests, music will be played by the Wheaton Municipal Band and Wheaton College Students, in addition to Mike O'Donnell, who will perform songs on the bagpipe.
