Road Closures To Take Effect For Run For The Stars Stars 5K In Wheaton
The race is scheduled for Saturday morning and will lead to temporary road closures.
WHEATON, IL — Road closures will take effect Saturday morning to accommodate the Run for the STARS 5K.
The following closures will be in effect from around 7 a.m. to around 10:30 a.m.
- Seminary Avenue from Scott Street to Washington Street
- College Avenue from Washington to Howard Street
- Washington Street from Seminary/College to Wesley Street
- Crescent Street from Washington Street to Sumner Street
- Michigan Street from Chase Street to Fischer Street
- Liberty Drive from Washington to Fischer
- Willow Avenue from Washington to Chase
- Illinois Street from Washington to Chase
- Washington Street from Front Street to Illinois Street
- Sumner Street from Liberty to Illinois
- Chase Street from Michigan Street to Illinois Street
- Fischer Street from Liberty to Michigan
Barricades will be in place and drivers are encouraged to take alternative routes to avoid traffic delays.
