Road Closures To Take Effect In Wheaton Sept. 30

WHEATON, IL — Road closures will be in effect Sept. 30 to accommodate the Light the Torch 5K Night Run.

The closures will start at 6 p.m. and end at 9 p.m., affecting the following roadways, according to an update from the City of Wheaton:

• Illinois Street from Reber Street to Washington Street
• Reber Street from Liberty Drive to Illinois Street
• Willow Avenue from Reber to Washington
• Naperville Road from Liberty to Roosevelt Road
• Washington Street from Liberty to Roosevelt Road
• Evergreen Street from Washington to Blanchard
• Blanchard Street from Liberty to Evergreen
• Williston Street from Crescent to Liberty
• President from College Avenue to Crescent
• President Street from Roosevelt to Indiana Street
• Crescent Street between Chase and Williston Streets
• Chase Street from Crescent to Evergreen
• Indiana Street from Washington to Chase

Barricades will be in place to help redirect traffic and drivers are advised that they may encounter delays.
