Road Work To Temporarily Close Childs And Woodlawn
Crews will be installing sewers near Childs and Woodlawn starting Aug. 1.
WHEATON, IL — The intersection of Childs and Woodlawn Streets will be closed in Wheaton as crews replace sewers nearby.
The closure, part of the Northside Sewer Interceptor Sewer Replacement Project, took effect Aug. 1. Motorists can expect the intersection to be closed overnight through Aug. 3.
Daytime closures will be in effect Aug. 4 and Aug. 5.

Detours will be available via Manchester Road and Gables Boulevard, with signs posted to help direct drivers.
