Visitation and services for Robert Hedstrom of Wheaton will be Wednesday, Jul. 6, at Wheaton Evangelical Free Church.
Robert Hedstrom of Wheaton died Friday, Jul. 1, at Manor Care Health Services of Westmont. He was 87.
He was born May 22, 1924 in Hollywood, CA. He was raised in Lombard and graduated from Wheaton Academy in 1942.
He served in the military in the European Theatre from June 1942 to November 1945. He met his wife, Ellen, at Wheaton College, whom he married January 1, 1946. He was an exhibit salesman for Trade Shows where he won many awards, and worked for the Billy Graham telephone ministries for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen; three daughters, Janet, Joyce and Leslie; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth and Ione; one brother, Lowry; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and three sisters, Marie, Joan and Jeanne.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of a service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, at Wheaton Evangelical Free Church, 520 E. Roosevelt Road, Wheaton.
