See 2K American Flags On Display At Field Of Honor In Wheaton
The Wheaton Field of Honor will feature 2,000 American flags on display from June 29 through July 4 at Seven Gables Park.
WHEATON, IL — Some 2,000 American flags will flutter in the breeze at Seven Gables Park in Wheaton for the city's 2022 Field of Honor. The flags, which honor veterans, first responders, active military members and other local heroes, will be on display June 29 through July 4.
Wednesday's Field of Honor opening is set to feature live music, including a bagpiper at 7 p.m. and more patriotic performances from DuPage Honor Guard, Belmont College School of Music and other local artists at 7:30 p.m.
On Thursday, June 30, the following performances are scheduled at the Field of Honor:

- 7 p.m.: Bagpiper playing patriotic music
- 7:30 p.m.: Star Spangled Banner, Gettysburg Address, America the Beautiful, God Bless America, DuPage Honor Guard, More
The Field of Honor and its related celebrations are presented by the Wheaton Park District and Warrenville VFW Post 8081.
