WHEATON, IL — The winter holiday season is in full force, and Cantigny Park plans to embrace it with a 1940s radio play version of "A Christmas Carol." The performances will be held Dec. 17 at 7 p.m. and Dec. 18 at 11 a.m.

Five actors will perform the play on a set inspired to look like an old-fashioned radio station. A sound artist will be on hand to help immerse the audience in the radio experience.

The play has been adapted by Christopher Corrigan from the Dickens classic. Corrigan is also directing the show, drawing inspiration from Chicago’s Theatre of the Air, which aired via WGN in the '40s.
