Send Balloons To Brighten Valentine's Day For DuPage Care Residents
Residents can buy Valentine's Day balloons to send to residents at DuPage Care Center. Find out how to share the love.
WHEATON, IL — As Valentine's Day approaches, DuPage Care Center is offering a chance to show some love to its residents with a balloon sale.
The heart-shaped mylar balloons cost $4.50 and will be delivered to the residents of the care facility on Valentine's Day. Buyers can send balloons to a specific resident or add a personal message if they'd like.
"Every year, this fundraiser brings smiles to residents’ faces and helps to warm their hearts and lift their spirits," Greg Schwarze, Chair of the Human Services Committee at DuPage Care Center said in a news release.

He added, "It’s a great tradition and we are excited about continuing it this year."
Hundreds of Valentine's Day balloons have been sent during past fundraisers at DuPage Care Center, making as many as 300 residents feel special for the holiday. Funds from this year's balloon sales will be used to support the care center's Resident Recreation Fund to provide additional programming and fun initiatives.
