Senior Research Fair Planned In DuPage County
The event will feature representatives for services that support seniors with their social, mental health, home care, legal and other needs.
WHEATON, IL — DuPage County seniors and their family members can attend a Senior Resource Fair on June 15 to meet representatives from over 40 local organizations that offer support services for senior residents.
The organizations in attendance will offer resources on senior support services that include:
- Home care
- Mental health
- Legal assistance
- Social services
- Nutrition programs
- Day programs
- Respite care
The event coincides with World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, which is dedicated to raising awareness about abuse and neglect of seniors, along with self-neglect.
