Shakespeare Performance Coming To Memorial Park In Wheaton

Head to Memorial Park Aug. 26 through Aug. 28 to catch a live performance of Henry IV, Part 1.

WHEATON, IL — A performance of part one of Shakespeare's Henry IV will be presented at Memorial Park Aug. 26 through 28. The Shakespeare in the Park Event will be hosted by the Wheaton Park District and Wheaton College Area Theater.

The free show kicks off at 7 p.m., but spectators can stop by at 6:45 p.m to catch a Henry IV, Part 1 puppet show. Seating will be available, but limited at the event. Guests are welcome to bring blankets and lawn chairs.

Concessions will be available for purchase, with proceeds benefitting the DuPage County Historical Museum.
