Shoplifters Hit 2 Stores In Wheaton In 1 Week
Wheaton police responded to two retail theft reports within days of each other.
WHEATON, IL — Retail thefts were reported at two different stores in Wheaton within three days, according to the city's most recent crime blotter.
The first incident took place April 13 at the Walgreens located at 1601 N. Main St. Police say a man and a woman entered the store around 12 p.m. and filled containers with cosmetics before leaving the store without paying.
Another retail theft incident was reported on April 16 at the 7-Eleven at 625 W. Roosevelt Rd. According to police, a woman came into the convenience store around 9:25 a.m. and stole alcohol.
