Skateboarder Accused Of Murdering Wheaton Man: Report
Terry Kennedy, 36, of Long Beach, California, has been charged with first degree murder after police say he attacked a Wheaton man.

OAKBROOK TERRACE, IL — A California man has been charged with first degree murder after police say he fatally attacked a Wheaton man in Oakbrook Terrace. Terry Kennedy, 36, a professional skateboarder from Long Beach, is being held in DuPage County Jail without bail in connection with the July 27 incident, Daily Herald reports.
Josiah Kassahun, 23, died Saturday at a hospital in Chicago, with the cause of death attributed to blunt-force head injuries.
Police say Kennedy and Kassahun were at the Comfort Suites at 17W445 Roosevelt Rd. when Kennedy punched Kassahun and knocked him down before kicking him, according to Daily Herald.

Kennedy is also accused of breaking into a Wheaton woman's house and stealing her SUV and debit card. Daily Herald reports that the woman was Kennedy's former girlfriend.
