St. Francis High School Student Named National Merit Semi-Finalist

WHEATON, IL - The Francis High School Community is proud to announce that senior Katherine Kubik of West Chicago has been named a emifinalist in the National Merit Scholarship Program.

Kubik is among approximately 16,000 other Semifinalists who represent less than one percent of the 1.6 million juniors who entered the 2017 National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the fall 2015 PSAT exam as juniors. According the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, Semifinalists are “designated on a state-representational basis and are the highest scoring entrants in each state.”

Kubik will continue in the scholarship competition and National Merit Finalists will be announced in February 2017.
