WHEATON, IL — A badge was stolen from a car, shoes were swiped from a lobby and a resident was the victim of identity theft, according to the Wheaton Police Department's crime blotter through Dec. 28.

Package Stolen in 1400 Block of Coloma Place

A package was stolen from outside of a home in the 1400 block of Coloma Place. on Dec. 10. The theft happened sometime between 12 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Counterfeit Money Used At Starbucks

A man came into the Starbucks at 101 W. Front St. around 2:40 p.m. on Dec. 23 and used counterfeit money to pay for drinks.

Shoes Stolen from Lobby

A pair of shoes was stolen from the lobby of a building in the 2000 block of Roosevelt Road. The incident took place sometime between 4 p.m. on Dec. 24 and 2:15 p.m. on Dec. 26.

Car Burglarized in 100 Block of Wheaton Court

Police say an identification badge was stolen from a car while it was parked in the 100 block of Wheaton Circle. The burglary happened between 8 p.m. on Dec. 25 and 3 p.m. on Dec. 27.

Identity Theft Reported

A resident in the 600 block of Delles Road told police someone used their personal information to fraudulently open an account with Comcast. The incident was reported Dec. 28.
