These Are The Featured Recipes For The 2026 Wheaton Chili Cookoff

WHEATON, IL — Downtown Wheaton Association just unveiled the custom recipes each of the 12 participating restaurants will be whipping up for the 18th Annual Wheaton Chili Cookoff.

The event will take place in downtown Wheaton on Oct. 3 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Participants can enjoy unlimited chili samples, along with live music from by Kevin Janus and the Wheaton Dad Band.

Below, you'll find each restaurant competing in the cookoff and the recipes they'll be serving.

• Altiro Latin Fusion: Altiro signature chili
• Bien Trucha: Braised Beef Cheek & Black Bean Chili
• Billy Bricks: Chili Wonka & the Hot Honey Factory
• Front Street Kitchen: Classic Short Rib Chili
• Gia Mia: Italian Stallion Chili
• Grange House: Chili con Carne y Mole
• Hale Street Cantina: Cantina Chili
• Ivy Restaurant: Brisket Chili
• Luong Loi Restaurant: Papaya Salad Chili
• Moveable Feast + Co.: Gluten-free Verde Chicken Chili
• QCurrys Indian Kitchen: Chicken Fire Chili
• The Burger Social: Korean-Mexican Fusion Chili

General admission tickets are $20 per person and $15 for Friends of Downtown Wheaton and include unlimited chili tastings. A Chili 4-Pack is $60 and gives you four general admission tickets.
