Three Kings Day Celebration Planned In Wheaton
The festivities include music, dancing, and toys for children.
WHEATON, IL — Wheaton will host an event to celebrate Three Kings Day on Jan. 4. The event, put on by Immigrant Solidarity DuPage, will include live music, dancing, eats, and toys for kids.
In a news release, Immigrant Solidarity DuPage said the event will "be dedicated to all refugees and immigrants in the world, those who are seeking asylum, full of hope and faith, escaping from conditions of poverty and violence, as did the wise men, in search of a fuller and more dignified life."
Live musical acts include Corb, who will perform Spanish rock tunes, Jorge and Melissa, who will share classic Latino music, and DJ Fernando Hernandez who will spin live music. There will also be a performance of traditional Oaxacan dance by Comparza La Pura Luz de Morelos.
