#Top3Thursday at Wheaton Park District: December 29, 2016
Command the dance floor, spend days drawing, and get super at soccer next week.

1. Command the floor. Have you and your partner ever gone to a wedding and never made it onto the dance floor? After Couples Ballroom Dance: Beginner, beginning January 5, you'll never stay on the sidelines again. Even if you think you have two left feet, instructors Dean and Laurie Francis can help you learn and have a great time dancing the fox-trot, waltz, cha-cha, and swing/jitterbug. Their weekly videos on YouTube will help you learn faster and remember the dances week to week. Both partners must be registered. Fee is per person. Sessions held every Thursday, January 5-February 2, 8:30-9:30P at the Wheaton Park District Community Center (1777 S. Blanchard St.). Register online.
2. Days of drawing. Young artists should be encouraged, and with Young Rembrandts Drawing Workshop, starting January 5, yours will be! The Young Rembrandts method was developed to teach basic drawing techniques in a five-year, non-repeat curriculum. Our instructor presents a step-by-step approach in each class with animals, action, still-life, landscape, and cartoons. Students use different types of media to help build confidence with concepts and skills. Drawing is fun, and your child can learn how to do it, too! For ages 6 through 12. Sessions held every Thursday, January 5-26, 5-6P at the Wheaton Park District Community Center (1777 S. Blanchard St.). Register online.
3. Super soccer. Soccer is the world's fastest-growing sport. Starting January 6, introduce your child to it with help from the coaching staff of Future Pros. This class covers basic soccer skills while instilling a love of the game. Have fun with the pros of Future Pros! For ages 4 to 6. Sessions held every Friday, January 6-27, 10:30-11:15A at the Wheaton Park District Community Center (1777 S. Blanchard St.). Register online.
