#Top3Thursday at Wheaton Park District: March 16, 2017
Sing under the sea, experience nightlife at Lincoln Marsh, and learn first aid and CPR.

1. Under the sea. Sing along with Ariel, Sebastian, Flounder, and other beloved characters during The Little Mermaid Jr. on March 18, 2P and 5P, presented by Children's Playhouse! Performances held at the Wheaton Park District Community Center (1777 S. Blanchard St.). $5 per person 2 and up; children under 2 who don't need their own seat are free. Tickets are $7 per person 2 and up at the door. All ages welcome. Purchase tickets online.
2. Nightlife. Shake those winter blues at Lincoln Marsh on an adventurous night hike! Explore the changing season under cover of darkness at Under the Cover of Night on March 18, 7-8:30P. The hike ends with roasting marshmallows and hot chocolate around a crackling fire. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult. Program held at Lincoln Marsh Natural Area (Harrison Ave & Pierce Ave.). $9 per resident; $11.25 per nonresident. For ages 4 and up. Register online.
3. First, some first aid. A good babysitter knows common first aid procedures, and you can learn them during Babysitter's Series: CPR/1st Aid on March 22, 5:30-7P. This class covers basic infant/child CPR. Students gain confidence responding to emergency situations and discussing medical concerns with parents. This introductory course will give current and future babysitters the basic knowledge they need to handle emergency situations. This is not a certification course. Class held at the Wheaton Park District Community Center (1777 S. Blanchard St.). $32 per resident; $40 per nonresident. For ages 11 to 17. Register online.
