Know the 10 signs of Alzheimer's disease, experience nature naturally, and double down on 007 next week.

1. Know the signs. Unfortunately, the warning signs of Alzheimer's disease are often dismissed as age-related memory loss. Learn how to recognize the warning signs in yourself and others, and why early detection matters. This program is presented by professionals from the Alzheimer's Association. Free. All ages welcome. Call 630.665.1415 to register.

2. Nature, naturally. On March 10, 9:30-10:30A, join Nature Play Days: Winter Series for an hour of singing, fiddling, jiggling, and journeying into the wild while encountering nature through free play. Self-guided stations explore a new theme each session. It's the perfect way to foster appreciation for the natural world in your tiny explorer! Children must be accompanied by a nonpaying adult. Portions of the program may be outside; dress appropriately. Session held at the Girl Scout Cabin in Northside Park (1300 N. West St.). For ages 18 months to three years old. $7.50 per resident; $9.50 per nonresident. Register online.

3. Double down on 007. At the DuPage County Historical Museum’s (102 E. Wesley St.) Casino Royale on March 11, 7-10P, it’s time to double down on 007. Then play Heads or Tails and try to walk away with an instant wine cellar, complete with a brand-new wine cooler and more than $1,000 in fine wines. For ages 21 and up; valid photo I.D. required the night of the event. Tickets are $75 per person, $140 per couple, and $500 per group of 10 and include $50 in charity chips per person, appetizers, and two drink tickets.
