Track Repairs To Cause Detours On Main Street In Wheaton

WHEATON, IL — Motorists can expect detours on Main Street in Wheaton, as crews from Union Pacific will perform maintenance and repairs on the railroad crossing starting Friday.

The following detours are recommended during the road closures:

• If heading north on Main, turn left on Liberty, right on West and right on Front Street before getting back on to Main Street
• If heading south on Main, turn right on Wesley, left on West and left on Liberty Drive before turning back on to Main Street

The road closures will be in effect between Front Street and Liberty Drive from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 15 through July 17.
