WHEATON, IL — Four-way stop signs will temporarily replace some traffic lights in downtown Wheaton as crews work to install signal replacements. The project, which began Tuesday, is expected to last about two weeks.

Traffic signals will be out of service at the following locations:

  • Main Street and Liberty Drive intersection
  • Main Street and Front Street intersection

Crews will replace the traffic signals at Main and Liberty as part of the city's ongoing downtown streetscape redevelopment. This work will cause the connected signals at Main and Front to be out of service.
