Upcoming Traffic Closures For Downtown Wheaton Construction

WHEATON, IL -- The city of Wheaton recently announced upcoming road closures to accommodate construction on a water main as part of the downtown Wheaton streetscape project. Officials say Harrison Street will be closed between Main and President starting May 20.

The water main repairs will take place between West Street and Washington, but traffic will be rerouted between Main and President. The closure will only be in effect when construction workers are doing maintenance on the area.

The roadwork is expected to last about three weeks.
