Vape Shop Robbery, Walgreens Retail Theft: Wheaton Crime Blotter

WHEATON, IL — Wheaton police responded to a retail theft at Walgreens, a robbery at a vape shop and a criminal damage to property incident, according to the city's most recent crime blotter.

Retail Theft at Walgreens

A man and a woman came into the Walgreens at 1601 N. Main St. around 6 p.m. and stole cosmetic items

Robbery at Vape Shop

Police say two masked men came into Smokehaus, 600 S. County Farm Rd. on June 29 around 10:43 p.m. and asked to look at some merchandise. The men grabbed the merchandise they were shown and exited the store without paying.

Criminal Damage to Property

According to police a "group of unknown females" threw objects at the garage of a home in the 1100 block of Buckingham Drive, causing damage to the door. The incident took place around 9:40 p.m. on July 29.

Package Stolen

A package was stolen from a mailroom in the 100 block of Wheaton Court on July 24.
