Veteran To Talk Gulf War At Free Cantigny Park Event
Cantigny Park's First Division Museum will host the free educational talk via Zoom on Aug. 5.
WHEATON, IL — A veteran of the Persian Gulf War will be one of the featured speakers at “This Will Not Stand: The U.S. Army’s Road to Victory During the Persian Gulf War," a free event hosted by Cantigny Park's First Division Museum Aug. 5.
Jeff Hawks, who served in the Gulf War and is the education director for the Army Heritage Center Foundation, will be joined by Molly Bompane, curator of the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center (USAHEC) in Pennsylvania. Both Hawks and Bompane will discuss the USAHEC's historical Gulf War exhibit, which opened in 2020.
