Wesley Street Drainage Repairs Continue In Wheaton
City officials expect the work on Wesley street to be finished up in four or five weeks.

WHEATON, IL — The City of Wheaton is making fast progress on repairs to the drainage system at Wesley Street, but parts of the street are expected to stay closed for a few more weeks as the construction continues. The repairs, which began Oct. 30, include installing a storm sewer pipe between Ellis and Western Avenues.
This part of the project will temporarily close traffic on Wesley Street between Ellis and Western, with the exception of local traffic, during construction times. Detours will be posted for other commuters.
Parking will be prohibited on Wesley Street from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. During the daytime, residents can park on the eastern side of Ellis and during they evening they may park on Wesley Street.

Construction hours are slated for Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the duration of the project.
