West Chicago McDonald's serves up IncrediBulls at McTeacher's Night

Indian Knoll School holds a McTeacher's Night Fundraiser at the West Chicago McDonald's on West North Ave.

On Thursday April 16th, it was all about raising money and community spirit for Indian Knoll School.  Indian Knoll School students and parents came to a McTeacher’s Night at the West Chicago McDonald’s at 89 West North Ave.  The Indian Knoll teachers took over the restaurant serving up delicious meals to students and families.  Teachers working included the following:  Pinto, Wodzinski, Kimmel, J. Miller, Grotto, Walsh, G. Meza, B. Miller, Mazurski, King, Lemkau, MeyerManspeaker, Koehring, Zahaitis, Zurita, E. Meza, Magana, McLean, Jury and McPrincipal Bohrer.  Superintendent of District 33, Dr. Johns and Board of Education Secretary, Gil Wagner both came out to support Indian Knoll School.  A special performance by the Indian Knoll Alumni Band and Orchestra from Leman Middle School helped make this event a memorable evening.  An appearance by the Chicago Bulls IncrediBulls also added to this special night of fundraising.  A special thank you goes to PTO President, Lori Davis, who organized the entire event.  The event was courtesy of the McDonald’s owner/operators, the Lardas family.  For more information about events provided by the West Chicago McDonald’s on North Ave., contact their Community Relations Director at Julie.travers@Comcast.net or visit their website at http://www.mcstate.com/11673
