Wheaton City Council Seeks Candidate Sought For West District
The position was made vacant when Todd Scalzo resigned Tuesday.

WHEATON, IL — The Wheaton City Council member is looking for candidates to fill a seat for its West District. The seat became vacant Tuesday, when Todd Scalzo resigned from the city council.
The position is a two-year term that ends in May 2021. According to city officials, the West District council member represents "properties in the city generally located south of Front Street, west of Naperville Road/Plamodon Road to the western city limits."
Anyone interested in applying to fill the West District seat on the Wheaton City Council can complete and submit an application at Wheaton City Hall, 303 W. Wesley Street. The deadline is Aug. 6 at 5 p.m.
