The number of coronavirus cases in Wheaton has increased by 72 cases in the past week, according to new data.
WHEATON, IL — The number of coronavirus cases in Wheaton has increased by 72 cases in the past week, according to information from the DuPage County Health Department (DCHD).
As of Oct. 21, there had been 912 cases reported in Wheaton. The total number of cases reported in Wheaton as of Oct. 28 was 984.

Wheaton has had 27 confirmed deaths since the county started tracking its coronavirus numbers, DCHD data shows.
In nearby Glen Ellyn, the number of coronavirus cases had increased by 63. On Oct. 21, the village had reported 722 total cases of the new coronavirus. Those numbers had increased to 785 as of Oct. 28.
