Wheaton Library's Cafe on the Park Now Open
The long-awaited cafe inside the Wheaton Public Library opened over the weekend.

The cafe, which serves coffee, espresso, tea, smoothies and baked goods, opened over the weekend. The cafe overlooks Adams Park and is located just inside the west entrance of the library at 225 N. Cross Street. There is also a patio for those interested in grabbing a seat outside once the temperatures warm.
A grand opening and chamber of commerce ribbon cutting ceremony at the newly-opened cafe saw a great turnout on Friday.

Hours of operation for the cafe are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays, according to the Daily Herald.
The cafe has been posting job openings on its Facebook page and has been seeking a baker at the cafe as well as applicants for shift manager positions. Other updates can also be found on the cafe's Facebook page or website.
