Donations Sought to Stuff a Truck Full of Food for Wheaton Non-Profit
The generous donations of those able to give back help 31,000 DuPage County residents each year.

In the coming weeks, local food pantries and non-profits will be looking to stock up on donations to help those in need during the upcoming holiday season.
The People’s Resource Center of Wheaton, which provides food, clothing, emergency financial assistance, job assistance and more to those in need in DuPage County, will be collecting food and cash from the Wheaton community and through the schools that will be hosting food drives.
Non-perishable donations will be collected through the month of October and local businesses. The donations will be stuffed on a truck on October 25 and brought to local food pantries.

There are several locations throughout Wheaton where you can drop off food donations.A list of food examples needed can be found on the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce website and on the People Resource Center website.

Cash donations are also sought. A $5 donation can secure the People Resource Center $25 worth of food through the Northern Illinois Food Bank. Donations can be made online.
The Wheaton Chamber of Commerce will be hosting itsStuff-A-Truck food event from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 25 at the People’s Resource Center, 201 S. Naperville Road in Wheaton.
