WHEATON, IL — Wheaton police are set to crack down on drivers who exceed the speed limit during a campaign that kicked off June 6 and will last through June 11.

Residents will notice an increased police presence throughout this Speed Awareness Traffic Campaign. Drivers are urged to stick to the speed limit, which is 25 mph in most neighborhoods, a news release said.

During this time, residents are also encouraged to report nonemergency traffic issues via Wheaton's online service request form.
