Wheaton Public Library to Host Local Author Mary Anne Phemister author of Hannah More: The Artist as Reformer July 23 at 7pm

Wheaton Public Library will feature local author Mary Anne Phemister on Thursday, July 23 at 7pm as she discusses English writer and philanthropist Hannah More. Phemister says More is considered most influential female writer of her time yet she is for the most part unknown to many.

Phemister’s presentation rescues Hannah from undeserved neglect and shows her continuing relevance to the modern world. Phemister’s book, Hannah More: The Artist as Reformer, will be available for purchase and signing. No registration required. For more information, click here.
