Wheaton Restaurant Week: Special Menus And Discounts

WHEATON, IL — Wheaton's In Good Taste Restaurant Week, which kicked off Friday, puts the spotlights on local eateries with a variety of discounts and special promotions. Restaurants will offer unique prix fixe lunch and dinner menus, along with daily deals and special events to celebrate dining in Wheaton. Here are some of the special offers.

Suzette's Creperie

Suzette's will serve a special prix fixe menu for $30 that includes such mouthwatering entrees as beef bourguignon crepe, lemon sole, and flatiron steak with frites. For $38, diners can indulge in a cassoulet dinner, a delicious melange of duck confit, smoked pork, and house-made garlic sausage slowly simmered with carrots and white beans in an herb and wine sauce.

Gia Mia

Lovers of Italian food can't go wrong with Gia Mia's $19 prix fixe menu during Wheaton Restaurant Week. Start out with appetizers like lobster bisque or charred cauliflower and then move on to entrees that include pancetta-wrapped shrimp and eggplant parmesan.

Graham's Fine Chocolates and Ice Cream

If there's room for dessert, stop by Graham's Fine Chocolates and Ice Cream. Diners who mention restaurant week get a free scoop of ice cream with any $10 purchase.

Other participating restaurants will feature restaurant week discounts. These include nightly entree specials at Ivy Restaurant, 10% off at Egg'cletic Cafe when you mention Wheaton Restaurant Week, and $8 maple syrup old-fashioned drinks at The Burger Social.
