Wheaton Seeks 2020 Good Citizen Nominations

WHEATON, IL — The city of Wheaton is encouraging residents to get in their nominations for its 2020 Good Citizen awards. The deadline to submit a nomination is March 16.

The annual awards recognize residents and organizations who have gone above and beyond to help others and who "make the generous and often extraordinary contributions that make Wheaton an outstanding community." The 2020 award nominations include an expanded section to recognize the Good Citizen efforts of local students.

The Good Citizen awards include three categories: student, adult and group. Nominees need to be current residents of Wheaton who have "done something for the benefit of Wheaton and its citizens. "
