Wheaton Teacher Resigns After Pleading Guilty to Child Porn Charge
The teacher at Wheaton Warrenville South High School has been on unpaid leave for four years.
A chemistry and biology teacher at Wheaton Warrenville South High School teacher has resigned after pleading guilty in December to a possession of child pornography charge, the Chicago Tribune reports.
The Wheaton Warrenville Community Unit 200 School District voted last week to accept the resignation of Jason R. Haas who had been on unpaid leave since his arrest in December 2010 at his home in Naperville, according to the article.
The 39-year-old submitted a resignation letter to the district last month, the newspaper reports.
