Wheaton Trick-Or-Treat Still On Halloween, Despite Weather
Are you planning to brave the cold for some candy?
WHEATON, IL — There's already snow on the ground, but that isn't stopping the city of Wheaton from keeping its trick-or-treat hours on Halloween. City officials said trick-or-treating will take place on Oct. 31 at the regularly scheduled time and will not be canceled.
Trick-or-treat hours are from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
If you head out, city officials advise to bundle up and wear brightly colored clothing or use glow sticks to help improve visibility. Sidewalks and streets may also be slick, so be careful navigating neighborhoods.
